Tapin Regency, South Kalimantan – In an effort to support equitable access to technology education, PT Bhumi Rantau Energi, through its BRENOVATION program, has partnered with Codero Education to introduce coding and robotics education to students at SDN Bitahan Baru.
This program is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, which aims to enhance children’s digital literacy and creativity from an early age.
Enhancing Digital Literacy Through Technology
The BRENOVATION Program is designed to develop the region through technology, creativity, and innovation. Through this activity, students in grades 1 through 6 are introduced to the basics of coding and robotics using interactive and fun learning methods.
The principal of SDN Bitahan Baru expressed high appreciation for this program. He hopes that similar activities can be held more frequently to support students’ development in understanding technology relevant to the digital age.
Interactive Activities That Build Leadership Skills
During the activity, students were divided into small groups to practice teamwork and leadership skills. Each group was tasked with creating a simple project using the basics of coding and robotics. At the end of the session, they presented their work and the process behind it.
