From Banjarmasin to the World: Two Codero Students Win Awards at IJIO 2026

Two young explorers from Codero have just achieved a remarkable feat at the 2026 International Junior Informatics Olympiad (IJIO).

This prestigious competition, held online on May 9, 2026, is no ordinary contest. Just imagine—this global competition was attended by 1,893 brilliant students from 236 schools across 26 countries! Our brightest young minds had to compete fiercely against young talents from all corners of the world, ranging from Australia, China, and Singapore, to distant nations like Brazil, Mexico, and Turkey.

In this event, the children’s abilities are tested in solving challenging digital puzzles. Not by memorizing complex and intimidating formulas, but by arranging child-friendly digital command blocks.

Through this method, children are trained to think smart: to look at a big problem, break it down into small, manageable parts, and organize the steps to the solution in a systematic way.

Two Young Heroes from Banjarmasin

This sweet victory was achieved by two outstanding students from Codero Banjarmasin: Adyatma Yusuf Raharjo (Yusuf) and Aldinoa Luthfiansyah Raharjo (Noa).

Behind their cheerful smiles lies extraordinary perseverance during their time at Codero Banjarmasin. Guided by expert, patient, and dedicated mentors, Yusuf and Noa were trained using highly engaging methods that made even difficult material feel like an exciting game.

Their hard work and joy in learning yielded very sweet results:

  • 🏅 Yusuf successfully brought home a Silver Medal in the Grade 3 category!

  • 🏅 Noa successfully earned an Honorable Mention in the Grade 6 category!

Previously, Yusuf honed his creativity through the coding program, while Noa chose to explore the Arduino class.

Warm Appreciation from the Family’s Hearts

This success certainly brought a deep sense of joy to their parents’ hearts. Their emotions of joy and pride were expressed through heartfelt words of gratitude:

“We extend our deepest appreciation to the children’s teachers, who patiently guided them until they achieved this extraordinary accomplishment on the global stage,” said Yusuf and Noa’s family with great pride.

Yusuf and Noa’s remarkable achievements are clear proof that Indonesian children possess extraordinary digital potential and are capable of standing shoulder-to-shoulder with top global talents. With the right guidance, loving, focused, and provided from an early age, the uniqueness and special talents of these little ones will blossom into tangible works recognized worldwide.

Congratulations to Yusuf and Noa! May this achievement inspire other inspiring families to continue supporting every dream and curiosity of their beloved children. Let’s accompany them as they embrace a bright future!
