Codero, in collaboration with STEM Malaysia, invites children with an interest in technology to join a prestigious Southeast Asian competition: ASEAN Coding Competition (ACC) 2026. This isn’t just a competition—it’s a stage for your little ones to showcase their amazing work to the world, while learning from talented peers in neighboring countries.

About the ASEAN Coding Competition 2026

The ASEAN Coding Competition 2026 is an online coding competition initiated by Codero in collaboration with STEM Malaysia, open to participants from Southeast Asian countries. This event is aimed at elementary school-aged children to encourage the development of logical thinking, creativity, and the use of technology from an early age, in line with the theme “Creative Kids, Bright Future”.

ACC 2026 participant categories

We have divided this competition into two age groups so that every child can create works appropriate for their developmental stage:

• Primary A / Lower Level:

  • For ages 6–9.

  • Theme: Kids Build the Future (Animation)

• Primary B / Upper Level:

  • For ages 10–12.

  • Theme: Save the Future Planet (Games Story)

ACC 2026 contest terms and conditions

To support your child on this journey, there are a few simple things Visionary Families need to keep in mind:

• Register via the link bit.ly/RegistACC2026 first.

• Contest participants must create a project using at least Scratch 3 Offline or Scratch Online, available on the scratch.edu website.

• The project must be original and not plagiarized.

• The project must not contain sensitive content such as violence, religious issues, pornography, or racist content.

• Uploaded projects must be in .sb3 format.

• Once registered, upload your child’s project to the email aseancodingcompetition@gmail.com using the following email format: Participant’s Name_Competition Category_Project Name_Country of Origin, for example: (Alex_Primary A_Future City Builder_Indonesia).

ACC 2026 schedule

The ACC 2026 competition has the following schedule:

• Registration deadline: April 30, 2026

Participants must fill out the online registration form at this link. Make sure your little one is registered before this deadline!

• Free workshop: May 2–3, 2026

Don’t worry if your child has never tried this before. We’re offering a free learning session so your child can take their first steps with confidence.

• Submission deadline: May 9, 2026

• Semifinals: May 14, 2026

• Final: May 16, 2026

• Winners announcement: May 18, 2026
