[Tapin, May 18, 2026] — A total of 20 elementary school teachers from SDN Binderang and Lokpaikat participated in a Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) in the field of education, specifically a capacity building for elementary school educators organized by PT. Bhumi Rantau Energi (BRE) in collaboration with the Tapin Regency Education Office and Codero. The opening ceremony for this event was held in the auditorium of the Tapin Regency Education Office.
The Head of the Tapin Regency Education Office, Akhmad S. Sos., M. AP., expressed his deep appreciation to PT. BRE for its concern for the world of education, particularly future technologies.
“Hopefully, the collaboration between the Tapin Regency Education Office, PT. BRE, and related parties can continue and bring benefits to all parties. We welcome similar collaborations in the future for the development of education in Tapin Regency,” said Akhmad.

He also hopes that in the future, the number of participants in this program can increase to hundreds of students from every school in Tapin Regency.
Khairul Fahmi, a participant from SDN Binderang who took part in the activity, said he was very happy with the training in coding and robotics, especially since this activity is something new and very important to learn.
“This is also my hobby, so this coding and robotics training will broaden my horizons regarding the future,” said Khairul.
Joko Bagiono, Corporate Affairs Manager at PT. BRE, described this workshop as a manifestation of PT. BRE’s commitment to supporting more equitable technology-based education.
“We realize that technological progress is now unstoppable, so we must adapt to the changing times—one way is by having teachers who understand coding and robotics,” he explained.
Joko also hopes that the teachers participating in this workshop will share the knowledge they’ve gained with their colleagues and pass it on to their students.

PT BRE’s Ongoing Program with Codero
This PPM program is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program between PT. BRE and Codero, namely, BRENOVATION. The program aims to develop a region through creativity, innovation, and technology, as well as improve children’s digital literacy.
The BRENOVATION Program has previously been implemented at SDN Bitahan Baru, focusing on introducing basic coding concepts and designing simple robots, with dozens of students from grades 1 through 6 participating.
This activity serves as a concrete example that innovation in education can reach all segments of society through collaboration between companies and Codero to provide an enjoyable learning experience, as well as open opportunities for the younger generation to thrive in the field of technology.
The success of PT. BRE’s sustainable CSR program in Tapin Regency is tangible proof that when a company possesses a strong social vision and selects the right implementation partners, significant change can occur even in the smallest of classrooms.
